Markus Hensler has been involved in inter- and multimedia art since 1984. In the early 1990s he attended the F&F School for Art and Media in Zurich, whereupon he participated in several Performance Art festivals as well as curating a number of events. In 1998 he founded the BONE International Performance Festival in Bern together with Norbert Klassen and Ralf Samens. Today he lives in Bern and is known for his enigmatic, ephemeral, poetic and minimalist visual works with a touch of post apocalyptic discretion.
