Diana SORIA HERNANDEZ, Mexico/Finland

Lives and works in Helsinki, Finland.

Diana Soria Hernández is a visual and performance artist working mainly with performance art, ceramics and drawing. Her practice is an assembly of relations and affections that take place through her human scale, audience, collective memory and places. It gives and takes agency as it allows the performance to become alive in itself.

She holds a BA in Fine Arts from ENPEG La Esmeralda (Mexico) and an MFA by the Academy of Fine Arts Helsinki (Finland). Her work has been shown internationally in more than 15 countries within exhibitions and festivals.
