Live Action Gothenburg will this year present some of the most experienced artists on the international scene, like Marilyn Arsem, co-founder of the legendary performance art collective Mobius, and Head of the performance art department at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. But also two of the co-founders in 1985 of the well known European collective Black Market, Zygmunt Piotrowski from Warsaw, Poland and Tomas Ruller from Brno, Czech Republic.

From Beijing, China we are very pleased to welcome He Chengyao, one of the most established Chinese performance artists internationally. Another of the artists in the startup field is the Czech Jiri Suruvka whose humor shows what contemporary performance art can be. His blend of politics, self-irony and black humour, usually gives his work a special character of thoughtful laughter that never fails.

Of course these are only a few of the artists that will surprise you, and make you think and experience in another way through new and original works at Live Action Gothenburg 011.  Don't miss out on what will not be back, don't miss out on Live Action Gothenburg 011. It's alive, it is now and it is unique.

Jiri Suruvka. Czech Republic. Anti-Christ.
