Lives and works in Paris and Angoulême.

Hortense Gauthier have studied political science, history and geography. She made her first artistic experiences through collective realizations of video fictions and documentaries in collaboration with directors such as Felix Samba'N Diaye, Pedro Costa, Boris Lehman, Vincent Gérard...

Since 2003 Gauthier has been focusing on a poetic transmedia work that explores different materialities of writing (sound, visual, plastic, digital, corporeal) through diverse experiences (sound creations, poetry writings, action art, photos and videos), and mainly digital performances under the name of HP Process (with Philippe Boisnard).

She has been published in different literary reviews and collective works  (Ecrivains en séries 1, éd. Léo Scheer ; Boxon ; Dock(s) ; Inculte ; Espace(s), éd. CNES ; La Res Poetica, éd. Al Dante ; Ouste ; Mobile (Montagne Froide) ...), and is a contributor to Libre-critique.com, a website of literary criticism. She leads since 2004 the literary review Talkie-Walkie. After having organized a large number of literary events with Trame Ouest in the North of France, she directs with Philippe Boisnard DATABAZ, an art center and residency on literature and digital arts in Angoulême.
