iLAS Gothenburg is the first in an innovative series of study programs in performance art. The participants will here be able to take part of a high level workshop program led by some of the most experienced artists and pedagogues. But also to see, experience and analyze the work of some of the most important artists in the field as to get a higher understanding of performance art as a contemporary art media.

iLAS Gothenburg takes place in conjunction with LA 7 and combines practical studies through workshops (directed by Marilyn Arsem, Boston and Tanja Mars, Toronto) and dialogues (directed by Jonas Stampe, Guangzhou) through the analysis of the works experienced at the international performance art festival Live Action. iLAS takes place for the first time in Gothenburg and Mariestad from May 21 to May 30 2012.
