Patrick JAMBON, France/Germany

Born in 1966 in Lyon, lives and works in Berlin.

”I'm interested in the interaction between surveillance and entertainment. My work "Supervision" is inspired by the story of the Tower of Babel, but is also a narrative about overestimation or incorrect assessment of ones own capacity. Mobility and flexibility up to absurdity.”

Patrick Jambon studied at the Fine Art School of Lyon, at the Academy of Art in Düsseldorf with Nam June Paik, at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne and at the University of Fine Arts Berlin. Since 1990, he has held exhibitions and actions in different countries of Europe, America and Asia.

This is the first time that his work is presented in Sweden.
