About

The Association Galleri A Femtio was founded on December 23, 1994. With a strong commitment to artistic freedom and experimental expression, the association has actively worked to promote the visibility and development of international performance art in Europe, not only in Sweden and the region West of Sweden, but also through collaborative projects in Paris and Venice, as well as in New York.

Since 2006, the association has been running the internationally recognized performance art festival Live Action, a platform for artists from around the world to explore and present their work. Over the years, the festival has become one of the most established of its kind on the international scene, offering a dynamic arena performance art in its various forms.

Curator Chairman

• Jonas Stampe is the curator of the Live Action Festival and has extensive experience in performance art and contemporary art. His work has contributed to the festival's continuous development and maintained its relevance within the art scene.

• Joakim Stampe is the chairman of the Association Galleri A Femtio and plays as an artist a central role in driving the association's vision and projects forward. His dedication has been crucial to the association's long-term work and success.
