Born in 1989, lives and works in Paris.

Kubra Khademi is an Afghan multidisciplinary artist and a feminist based in Paris. Through her practice, Kubra explores her life as a refugee and a woman. exhibiting her works worldwide. In 2016 Kubra was given the title of Knight of Art and Literature (Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et Lettres) by the Ministry of French Culture. After a six months artist-residency in New York, she is invited to realize the poster of Festival d’Avignon 76th edition.
